MixKitchen Gets Gold at the 53rd Chicago International Television Awards.

From a long list of international and domestic entries, the Chicago International Film and TV Festival awarded Mix Kitchen’s Craig J. Snider a GOLD plaque for Special Achievement: Sound Design for his song and design work on “All American Girl” for NCADA.  The 30 second fall from an all American cheerleader to a lost and alone addict Heroin 2premiered during 2016’s SuperBowl. The spot begins and ends with the hastag #heroin in bold type.

The National Council of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse is based in St. Louis and works to reduce or prevent the harms of alcohol and other drug use through education, intervention and advocacy.  For more information: http://ncada-stl.org/the-library/ or #HEROIN.

MixKitchen’s Craig J. Snider and Robert Rashid at Chicago International TV Awards

Shout out to the Festival’s Gold Hugo winners: FCB-Chicago for their Commercial Campaign “Brewed for Those Who Go the Extra Mile,” The Martin Agency for their Individual Commercial Competition-winning “Figure Skater” and “Raccookin’,” and Chicago Justice for the top Dramatic Program. The evening’s honorees included Amazon Studios receiving a Commitment to Excellence in Television Production Award, Joe Sedelmaier receiving the Chicago Legend Award, and Dean Richards receiving the Chicago Award.  Congrats to all!Credits for “All American Girl”: Music and Sound Design by Craig J.
